CasterFest Events 2010

The first two CasterFesttm Events in 2010 were tremendous successes.

The first was in Louisville KY Jan 2nd & 3rd. It was a frigid 18 degrees but we had a blast. It was great to see a huge park like Louisville squiming with hardcore casterboarders. About 20 showed up and we caster raided that park for two days. Riders came from Texas, Wisconcin, Minnisota and Tennesee.

The second CasterFesttm event was EPIC. The CasterFesttm Texas Event was six days from March 22nd to March 28th and hardcore riders from California, Florida, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Texas rode & caster raided parks from Mexico up the Coastal bend of Texas. Our thanks to CA and Axis, with special thanks to Tim Fox of Axis who featured the event on "The Fox Den" episode 10. We camped on the beaches, shredded the parks and had outrageous fun everywhere we went.

Very talented riders from the Wolf Pack, the Growlers, FTA, CA, Westside Boarders and Axis attended one or both of these events but there was little local participation other than wide eyed astonishment from the local skaters as to what could be done on a caster board. We intend on remedying this situation with the remainder of the 2010 scheduled for this summer. We will Fest from Texas to the Great Lakes to the Smoky Mountains to the south eastern shore of Virginia and then go north until French becomes the local language (up to Maine but stop before we hit Canada). We will submit press releases to the towns in proximity to the parks we will be caster raiding. There will be chances to win a free TW Caster Board in each awarded to some lucky local. This summer we will attempt to get caster boarders out of the shadows to have a place in the sun. We will camp across this great nation and invite others to join us caster raiding the local parks and/or camping with us. We hope that this grassroots uprising of caster boarders will become a part of sports history and we hope you will cease the opportunity to join us for any part of it.

July 11th...Lively Point Skatepark, Irving Tx (near Dallas) camping at Cedar Hill State Park the 10th

July 12th...Mat Hoffman Action Sports Park Of Oklahoma City, camping at Chickasaw national recreation Area the 11th

July 14th...Rip On Skatepark, Topeka Kansas, camping at Perry Lake the 12th&13th

July 15th...Indepedence Skatepark, Independence Missouri, camping at Cooley Lake the 14th

July 16th...Iowa City Skatepark, Iowa City, Iowa, camping at lake McBride15th

Although we will most likely be at the skateparks beyond the stated hours; for planning purposes the hours at each skatepark will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It is during this time that the recipient of a free TimberWolf casterboard will be chosen.
