The
CP
The CP stands for COLD PRESSED. It refers to the
process by which the Decks are made. Most decks for board sports are
made with a Hot Press Process. In the Hot Press process 7 ply are
laminated together, the deck is then put in a press and is heated to dry
the laminating glue. In the Cold Press process the laminated ply are put
in a press bearing at least 25 tons of pressure and are kept under
pressure for a period of no less than 24 hours. This way the glue is
allowed eek into all the pores of the wood before the glue dries
naturally. With the CP decks we use they are then allowed to fully
harden for 5 days before they are cut to shape. Because our CP decks are
made with cherry picked Hard-Rock Sugar Maple from the Great Lakes
Region and Franklin Premiere water-proof laminate glue is used in the
Cold Press Process right here in the USA, they are the most reliable
decks on the planet.
The CP is 35 inches long and weighs 6 lbs 6 oz. It comes stock with the
most durable urethane wheels ever produced that outlast other wheels
many fold, the Labeda "Asphalts". The CP also comes with ABEC 9
bearings which are the best we have used. If you want to take caster
boarding to its limits, the CP is the board for you.
The TimberWolf Line of Caster Boards
The
Timberwolf Xtreem is the most advanced line of Caster Boards available. It
is clear TimberWolf's were designed by riders with riders pressure in mind. It's
construction joins the the newest technology in Caster Boarding with the
time tested aspects of other board sports. The 7 ply maple decks joined by a
fiberglass and Ultra High Molecular Weight polymer Torsion Bar offers
reliable energy redirecting pop that not only makes the ride more
comfortable, it makes the TimberWolf Caster Boards faster and better able to
perform various tricks. Not only does this Torsion Bar provide vertical pop,
it is flat-bottomed to better facilitate board slides and offer more
clearance.
Your TimberWolf caster board is alive with energy and far surpasses the dead
plastic boards with the vertically lifeless Torsion Bars which are the
norm. The live energy and comfortable riding of this caster board is
furthered by the lifter suspension of High-Rebound Urethane which
redirects shock to momentum. Your TimberWolf XtreeM is also light. This
is in part due to its piston quality aluminum caster assemblies.
If all that isn't improvement enough, the new Patent Pending "Rock & Roll"
caster assembly makes your TimberWolf Xtreem caster board Bidirectional.
Unlike Wave boards and Ripstik caster boards your TimberWolf caster board
has no front and no back. It goes either direction equally and comfortably
making your TimberWolf the first truly bidirectional caster board. This
increases the number of tricks that you can do on your TimberWolf Xtreem
caster board exponentially by allowing ramp fakies 180 shuvits and reverts
etc... In addition, because the axis is not mounted at an angle relative to
a front and a back, with practice you can achieve and maintain even a zero
axis angle which enables you to do dynamic spin tricks unique to your TimberWolf XtreeM caster board.
